Where Are You, Mom?

A special cultural event dedicated to International Women’s Day was held at Kunaev University. As part of the celebration, students and faculty members attended a monodrama performance titled “Where Are You, Mom?”.

The performance was presented by actress Zaure Kopzhasarova from the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh National Drama Theatre, who is also a laureate of the Serper Youth Award.

The main character of the monodrama is a young woman named Sara. The performance portrays her life story, memories of childhood, and her deep longing for her mother. Through the actress’s sincere performance and emotional monologues, the audience was able to feel the heroine’s inner world and reflect on the importance of maternal love and care.

During the performance, Sara’s inner struggles, childhood memories, and longing for her mother were vividly conveyed. The audience watched the play with great interest and warmly received the performance.

At the end of the event, students and guests expressed their gratitude to the actress and noted that the play left a strong impression on them. For many viewers, the evening became not only a theatrical performance but also a touching and meaningful event that reminded them of the value of a mother’s love.
