Kunaev University Students Participated in an Open Day at the Customs Post and International Airport

On May 21, 2026, an Open Day was held at the Zhetysu customs post and the international airport under the organization of the Department of State Revenues of Almaty. Students and graduating fourth-year students of Kunaev University took part in the event.

The educational visit was organized at the initiative of university lecturers Gulzira Tulegenovna and Ainagul Yermekovna. During the event, students became familiar with the customs post operations, inspection and control procedures, as well as the internal operations of the international airport.

During the excursion, future specialists received comprehensive information about the specifics of the customs field, professional duties, and responsibilities in the workplace. The students gained valuable practical knowledge and expressed interest in pursuing careers in this field in the future.

It was also noted that graduates of the “Customs Affairs” educational program at Kunaev University are currently working successfully in airport and customs services. This is considered one of the key indicators of the university graduates’ high level of professional training.
