Prevention of Illegal Drug Trafficking Among Students, Suppression of Drug Distribution, and Informing Students About Available Reporting Channels.

As part of promoting the ideology of “Law and Order,” on February 12, 2026, Kунаev University hosted a meeting between students and representatives of the прокуратура and law enforcement agencies, public organizations, as well as the university’s faculty members. The event was organized within the framework of the Month of Prevention and Awareness Against the Distribution of Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances among youth and students.

During the meeting, the speakers подробно explained the methods and tactics used to involve young people in the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs, outlined the legal consequences of participating in such unlawful activities, and emphasized the serious harm caused to health. The participants were shown a тематический video and presented with up-to-date statistical data.

Serikkazy Toleuovich Abdrakhmanov — Police Colonel, Veteran of the Investigative Bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor;

Erlan Beggulayevich Tazhibayev — Lecturer of the NarcoStop Project;

Akhatuly Abylaikhan — Volunteer of the NarcoStop Project;

Omarbek Kasymkazhevich Akhimbekov — Police Colonel, Veteran of the Investigative Bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Senior Lecturer;

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format: students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive qualified answers from specialists. Such events contribute to the formation of a sustainable legal culture among young people, strengthening the principles of law and order, and increasing the level of legal awareness and responsibility for compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
