Memorial Event for Mirzhakyp Dulatuly Held at Kunaev University

n November 2025, the faculty of law at Kunaev University organized a memorial evening dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Mirzhakyp Dulatuly, a prominent Kazakh educator, poet, publicist, and political figure.

During the event, participants explored his life and legacy, including his role in the Alash movement and contributions to Kazakh literature, culture, and national identity.

Mirzhakyp Dulatuly (1885–1935) was the author of the first Kazakh novel "Unfortunate Jamal", an active member of the Alash Orda government, and a key figure remembered for his work “Oyan, Qazaq!” (Awaken, Kazakh!). He fought for independence, education, and national revival.
