On 16 January 2025, the members of the delegation headed by the Rector of Kunaev University were: Rector of Kunaev University, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Umirali Zhazira Umralievna; Vice-rector for educational and methodological work and academic mobility, Associate Professor Ilyasova Baktygul Kuanyshovna; Vice-rector for strategic development, international relations and commercialisation candidate of law Omurchieva Elvira Maratovna; Vice-Rector for International Relations and Academic Mobility, Head of Department Kushekova Sandugash Daukenovna; Director of Educational Programmes Department Anipina Anara Ayovna; Head of Business and Management Training Sakhanova Lyazzat Bekenovna visited Azerbaijan State Economic University, located in Baku. On 16 January 2025, the Azerbaijani state in Baku during the meeting with the Rector of Kunaev University, Doctor of Laws, Associate Professor Umirali Zhazira Umiraliovna and the Rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC), Professor Adalat Muradov exchanged information about the universities of the two countries. After defining the strategic directions of the two universities, a memorandum of co-operation was signed between the parties.
The memorandum envisages co-operation between the two universities on exchange of students and teachers, joint scientific publications, articles, conferences and symposiums, participation in scientific research and other directions.
