Rector of D. A. Kunaev University Participated in the IAUP Semi-Annual Meeting in Seoul.
On October 13, 2025, the semi-annual meeting of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) took place in Seoul, South Korea, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the organization. The event was attended by Dr. Zhazira Omirali, Rector of D. A. Kunaev University, Doctor of Law, representing Kazakhstan.
The main theme of the event was: “Reimagining Higher Education: Innovation, Inclusion, and Global Collaboration in the Age of AI.” The forum addressed current challenges and opportunities in global higher education, particularly the influence of artificial intelligence, inclusive practices, and international partnerships.
Founded in 1965, IAUP is a global organization dedicated to promoting leadership in higher education, enhancing international cooperation, and fostering peace through academic exchange.
This special event marked IAUP's 60th anniversary and brought together university leaders from around the world to discuss pressing topics such as innovation, sustainable development, and the future of higher education in the age of artificial intelligence.
