“Kazakhstan People’s Unity Day”
A vibrant праздничное event was held at Kunaev University on May 1 to celebrate the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, with the participation of students and curator groups.
The celebration took place in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect, and cultural diversity. Guests from Azerbaijan — representatives of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) from the city of Baku — took part in the event, giving it a special international character.
The концерт program was rich and diverse: performers from the philharmonic appeared on stage, and university students presented national dances and songs of various cultures. Participants wore traditional costumes, showcasing the richness of cultural heritage.
Each curator group prepared national dishes representing different countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, China, Korea, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan, India, and others. Guests had the opportunity to explore the cultures of different nations through their traditional cuisine.
Such events are regularly held at Kunaev University, contributing to the strengthening of intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and unity among students. The celebration of the Day of Unity once again highlighted the importance of preserving cultural diversity in modern society.
