“Law and Order as the Foundation of Stability and Development of Society”

On August 18, 2026, a round table on the topic “Law and Order as the Foundation of Stability and Development of Society” was held at Kunaev University.

The participants of the round table were welcomed by Zhalairi Omirali Shakarapuly, President of Kunaev University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and President of the Kazakhstan Criminological Association, as well as Igor Ivanovich Rogov, Deputy Executive Director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Honorary President of the Kazakhstan Criminological Association.

Presentations were delivered by Eduard Bulatovich Mukhamedzhanov, Member of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief Researcher at the Research Institute of Law, Doctor of Law, Professor; Sailaubek Tynyshbekovich Alibekov, Doctor of Law, Professor at Kunaev University; and Kultai Suleimenovna Birzhanova, Associate Professor at Kunaev University.

During the round table, a discussion was held on current issues of legality and law and order, ensuring the rule of law, protecting human rights and freedoms, legal education of young people, and the prevention of offenses.

The round table provided a platform for a constructive exchange of views and discussion of further areas for improving the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
