Science

The main directions of research work of the department is the study of issues of formation and development of Kazakhstan statehood, theory of state and law, constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, administrative law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, constitutional law of foreign countries, public international law, problematic issues of ensuring and protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, customs affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The teaching staff of the department takes an active part in preparing and solving theoretical and practical issues of real interaction between the branches of state power.

The staff of the department pay great attention to research work with students. At the department there is "Intellect" research circle of young scientists, where the most acute and global problems of the constitutional system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS countries and abroad are discussed with students, masters, and doctoral students. The department also organizes regular master's readings, where the results of scientific research of young scientists are discussed.
Leading lecturers of the department lead student scientific sections on the theory of state and law, constitutional, administrative, and international law. The department constantly organizes university, republican and international conferences on topical issues of constitutional, administrative, financial, and international law, as well as conducts active educational work among students and undergraduates with the invitation of employees and representatives of law enforcement agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations of Kazakhstan.
