The main direction of research work of the department is the development of the scientific theme "Private Law Problems". Teachers of the department carry out active scientific activity, publish their scientific works in the "Bulletin of the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunayev", "Kazakhstan Journal of International Law", "Bulletin of KazNPU named after Abay", "Bulletin of KazNU named after Al-Farabi", foreign scientific journals, have a number of published monographs, textbooks, electronic textbooks, conduct legal expertise of draft laws. Professor Zhailin G.A. is the first author of a textbook on civil law in the national language, the textbook "Civil Law of the RoK (Special Part)" in two volumes. The department supervises master's theses, reviews monographs, textbooks, and other scientific works.
