Information
To organize the educational process and maintain a healthy lifestyle of students and staff, the university has a modern sports infrastructure:
- A large game gym equipped with basketball and volleyball, soccer courts, as well as exercise machines, tennis tables, gymnastic benches with a total area of 540 sq. m.
- Gymnastic mirror room equipped with a gym wall bars and exercise machines, gymnastic benches, video, and audio equipment with a total area of 110.8 sq. m.
- The sports hall is equipped with locker rooms (41.1 sq. m.) and shower cabins (26 sq. m.)
- The university has a sports club "KAS CLUB", which includes all national teams by types of sports and sports sections.
- University sports teams are annually upgraded with sports equipment, game and sports equipment.
- On the territory of the "Students' House" there is a summer sports ground with a total area of 80 sq. m. All students in their free time do sports in the sports hall.
- Every year the university, for the successful conduct of academic classes in physical education and passing standards in athletics, in the fall and spring period rents the stadium "Dinamo" (2 track and field running tracks) with a total area of 980 sq. m.
Purpose of the Sports Hall:
Create favorable conditions for physical training and sports activities;
Form the values of a healthy lifestyle among students involved in physical education and sports;
Raise the level of physical and psychological health of students, teaching staff and employees.
Kunayev University provides for the conduct of university team practices in the following sections:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Indoor soccer
- Track-and-field athletics
- Table tennis
- Chess
- Togyzkumalak
The university has masters of sports, members of the National National Teams in judo, taekwondo and kazaksha kures. In the evening, university coaches organize sections for students in volleyball, indoor soccer, table tennis, chess, togyzkumalak, and basketball. The aforementioned sectional sports classes are free of charge and accept all comers.
