Samatov Orozbay Zhusupbaevich

Samatov Orozbay Zhusupbaevich — Doctor of Law, Professor.

He holds a higher education degree and completed studies at leading educational and research institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Kingdom of Spain. He defended his Candidate and Doctoral dissertations in the specialty 12.00.10 — International Law and European Law. In 2007, by decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Law.

His professional activity is related to higher education, diplomatic service, and international legal practice. He has participated in international negotiations and expert activities within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as in projects of international organizations.

Since 2016, he has been a Professor in the field of Law at Kunaev University. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Dissertation Council for the defense of Candidate and Doctoral dissertations at the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
