Educational and upbringing activities at Kunaev University are an important part of the educational process and are aimed at fostering a harmoniously developed, socially responsible student personality.

The system of upbringing activities focuses on the spiritual, moral, civic, and physical development of students, the раскрытие of their creative potential, the formation of an active life position, and a sense of responsibility for the development of society.

Purpose of Educational and Upbringing Activities

To create favorable conditions for students’ personal development, provide social support, involve them in the social, cultural, and sports life of the university, and implement the state youth policy.

Educational and upbringing activities at the university are carried out in the following areas:

patriotic and civic education;

spiritual, moral, and aesthetic education;

legal education and the development of an anti-corruption culture;

improvement of religious literacy and prevention of extremism;

formation of a culture of tolerance and interethnic harmony;

physical education and promotion of a healthy lifestyle;

economic and environmental education.

Organization of Educational and Upbringing Activities

Educational and upbringing activities are implemented at the university level, within educational programs, student groups, the Youth Affairs Committee, and other structural divisions. Coordination of the upbringing process is carried out by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Upbringing Activities.

An important role in the upbringing system is played by the Council of Curator-Advisers, which brings together faculty members and university staff.

The university has a Student Code of Honor and Internal Regulations aimed at fostering a culture of behavior and academic integrity.

Legal and Civic Education

Special attention is paid to improving students’ legal literacy, preventing offenses, and forming anti-corruption awareness. Lectures, round tables, debates, and educational events are organized.

Social Support for Students

Kunaev University provides social support to students. The main measures include:

payment of scholarships to orphans and children left without parental care;

provision of tuition discounts for students with disabilities, students from large, low-income, and single-parent families, as well as high-achieving students.
