The Kunaev University Library is one of the modern university libraries in Kazakhstan, a member of the Association of University Libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  The library was organized in 1993 as a structural unit of the D.A. Kunaev Institute.     The library is located on the 3rd floor of a 10-storey building at 107 Kurmangazy Street.

Since its foundation, the Kunaev University Library has been actively involved in the formation of the organizational, cultural and intellectual environment at the university, provides information services to users, the introduction of automation and new technologies, access to electronic resources.

The mission of the library is to be a center for integrated information support of educational and scientific processes.

More than 250,000 copies of domestic and foreign publications in all branches of knowledge, audiovisual materials and periodicals are available to readers. 

      It offers users a "Subscription at the reading room", "Open access Reading room", "Electronic Resources Hall" with 131 seats.   

     Teachers and students have the opportunity to use various subscription and foreign databases, including the Republican Interuniversity Electronic Library, IPR SMART Saratov, Paragraph, Lan, Scopus, Elsevier, Thomson Reuters, SpringerLink,Polpred.com media review" multimedia textbooks on law, economics, general education disciplines, full-text training courses and materials.

    Today, the library has managed to reach a completely new level of service through the use of the latest computer technologies. The formation of information resources, access to the global Internet, and the conversion of paper books into electronic form makes the book collection as accessible as possible to library users, while at the same time prolonging its preservation for future generations.

The users of the Kunaev University Library are students, undergraduates, doctoral students, teachers and university staff.
