Since November 2009, the D.A. Kunaev University has implemented an Education Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Management System Department, participating in the development and development of an effective quality management system for the main activities of the Academy based on the requirements of MS ISO 9001-2008 and ST RK ISO 9001-2009, plays an important role in ensuring quality assurance and transparency of the education system, passing state certification and international accreditation.

In March 2023 Kunaev University has passed the International certification according to the ISO 37001:2016 standard. The standard is designed to support the implementation of anti-corruption management systems, strengthen ongoing controls, and help reduce the risk of bribery. Certification according to ISO 37001:2016 is proof of the fight against corruption within the organization and allows you to demonstrate compliance with the best international practices.

Also, since March, one of the first in Kazakhstan to introduce International certification according to ISO 21001, which resulted in a certificate of conformity. ISO 21001:2018 offers educational institutions providing educational services a single tool for managing the organization's processes in order to improve the quality of services and meet the expectations of those who receive them.
