  • 02. What does an applicant need to do to join us after college?

    Those entering after college in related fields of training, study with us for 3 years. Entrance exams are held in the form of an interview. If you have a college diploma of another direction you can enter only full-time department for 4 years of study. For admission it is necessary to pass the UNT on general grounds.

  • 03. How many grants are awarded by the university?

    The Academy awards Chancellor's Grants annually for undergraduate enrollment. This includes Chancellor's grants, grants for "Altyn Belgi" holders, social grants, as well as grants for the annual academic competition "Zheti Zhargy", which is held at the national level. This academic competition is held among 11th grade pupils and provides an opportunity to win a grant for tuition, as well as discounts from 20% to 50% of the tuition fee.   • 04. Military department, how does it go? How many places are there?

    We have a military department at KazNU named after Al-Farabi. Every year about 100 students come from us, who after successful completion receive the well-deserved title of lieutenant in reserve (when studying 2 years 2nd-3rd years of study) and sergeant in reserve (when studying 1 year).

  • 05. How does the Academy differ from all other universities in Kazakhstan?

    Study at the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunayev differs from other universities by the fact that this institution provides narrowly focused knowledge that helps to nurture a new generation of professionals in the field of business and management, law, and public security. We have successfully implemented dual training. Dual training is the consolidation of theoretical knowledge in practice on the basis of the Academy. A prime example of this is the Law Clinic run by our practicing teachers. The Law Clinic of the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunayev provides free legal assistance to socially vulnerable groups of population within the framework of the project of the volunteer movement "Accelerators of Good". There are certain successes: students of the clinic under the guidance of teachers canceled the decision of the court, won a dispute in court, helped to get an allowance for a mother with many children, conducted free legal consultations in the Citizens Service Centre of Almalinsk district of Almaty.

  • 06. Does the Academy have licenses for educational programs?

    Of course, we have a license to engage in educational activities and annexes to the license to engage in educational activities in all available areas and levels of training.   • 08. What is the student enrollment?

    At the moment there are about 3,000 students and two hundred master's students studying at the Academy. There are also doctoral students, i.e. the Academy provides an opportunity to master all levels of education.

  • 09. What is the tuition payment procedure?

    Payment is made in accordance with the contract. At enrollment it is necessary to pay 25%. Payment can be made at the accounting office, which is located on the fifth floor of the Academy, or through kaspi.kz. When paying through kaspi.kz students are given instructions with specific steps for their convenience. You can also ask your questions about payment to the accountant by contact numbers.

  • 10. What are the terms of study at Bachelor's and Master's degree programs?

    When enrolling after secondary school, the term of study is 4 years only on a full-time basis. This also applies to students who entered after college, not in related fields of study.

    Students who entered after college in related fields of study, study for 3 years, it is possible to enter full-time, also full-time with the use of distance technologies.

    Persons who want to get a second higher education study 2 years on a full-time department with the use of distance technologies.

    Education at the Master's program is carried out in two directions: 1 year - specialized Master's degree after graduation of which the academic degree of Master is awarded, 2 year - scientific-pedagogical Master's degree after graduation of which the academic degree of Master of Science is awarded. Also, this direction gives an opportunity to continue studying at the doctoral program. The period of study at the doctoral program is 3 years. After successful completion and defense of the dissertation, the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy is conferred.

  • 11. What additional opportunities can the Academy student acquire in the course of study?

    Students in the process of gaining knowledge within the walls of our Academy, not only learn knowledge that will serve them in the application of theoretical skills in practice, but also grow into individuals who are able to think critically, able to carry out legal analysis, conscious, with a broad outlook through participation in student clubs.

  • 12. What is the best way to prepare for the Academy?

    The process of preparing for admission to the Academy is a responsible step that requires maximum involvement in the process and awareness of this choice.     The main objectives of the organization of the CTT training process are:

    • creating conditions for maximum individualization of learning;

    • identification of students' learning achievements on the basis of an effective and transparent procedure of their control.

    CTT includes:

    • introduction of the system of academic credits to assess the labor input of students in each discipline and other types of academic work;
    • freedom of choice of disciplines included in the ESC, ensuring their direct participation in the formation of the IEP;
    • use of interactive training methods;
    • activation of independent work of students in mastering the educational program;
    • academic freedom of the Academy in the organization of the educational process, formation of educational programs;
    • providing the educational process with necessary teaching and methodological materials;
    • effective methods of controlling the students' academic achievements;
    • use of a point-rating system for assessing the students' academic achievements in each academic discipline and other types of academic work.

    CTT is based on the student's choice and independent planning of an individual educational trajectory aimed at achieving learning outcomes.

  • 14. Are there any bank installment plans available?

    We have not implemented this practice yet, but according to the contract, you will be able to pay for your tuition in installments.

  • 15. Is there any pre-university tutorial?

    We do not have preparation for the UNT, however we do have a college with related fields of study, after completion of which you can join us for a reduced course of study.

  • 16. Is it possible to get additional educational services while studying at the Academy?

    With credit technology you can get a double diploma education. This is an opportunity to study in two educational programs and curricula in order to obtain two equivalent diplomas or one main and the second additional one, which we have under development right now. We also have the EP IT lawyer, which is subdivided into the main educational program (Major) - an educational program defined by the student for study to form key competencies and additional educational program (Minor) - a set of disciplines and (or) modules and other types of academic work, defined by the student for study to form additional competencies. You will study at Major with us, Minor at Satbayev University.

  • 17. Can a student take a one-year academic leave?

    Academic leaves are granted to students on the basis of the conclusion of the medical advisory commission at the outpatient and polyclinic organization for a period from 6 to 12 months due to illness, call-up order for military service, birth, adoption of a child up to the age of three years.

  • 18. Can a bachelor's student transfer from one program to another?

    Transfer of students from one educational program to another, from one university to another is carried out during summer and winter vacations. It is possible to transfer only after fully completing the first academic period of the studied program according to the individual curriculum. When transferring, we take into account the direction of training, the profile of the educational program, academic achievements, as well as cases of violation of academic honesty by you. Transfer of a student from groups of educational programs of higher education, requiring creative training to other groups of educational programs is carried out in the presence of a certificate of unified national testing with a score not lower than the established threshold score.

  • 19. Is free attendance allowed at the Academy?

    There is no free attendance for full-time students.

  • 20. What are the student's financial aid options?

    The Academy encourages active students who, along with successful studies, combine an active student life, which includes community service, volunteer work, etc. The discounts provided are 10%, 30%, 50%. There are also other types of discounts provided to socially vulnerable groups of population.

  • 21. Does the Academy provide a place in the dormitory? If yes - how many places are there and what is the cost of accommodation?

    The Academy provides a new dormitory for students, commissioned just in 2021. There are 240 beds and prices range from 30,000 ₸/month to 50,000 ₸/month.

  • 22. Which university is your academy most often compared to?

    It is most often compared to KazGUU named after M.S.Narikbayev, as both universities are specialized ones.
